AI Image Generators Still Can't Spell — Here's How I Fix Text Without Regenerating
You generate the perfect hero image. Then you zoom in: "COFEEE SHOP". Regenerating is a lottery — the next roll might fix the text but ruin the composition.
There's a better way: edit the text in place.
The workflow
- Upload the image to PhotoTextEdit
- Mark the misspelled region
- Type the wrong word and the correct replacement
- Download — the tool inpaints the fix, matching font, lighting, and perspective
Where this actually matters
OG images for blog posts, documentation screenshots, demo mockups, cleaning up AI-generated marketing assets. Anywhere re-shooting or re-generating costs more than a two-minute fix.
Limitations
Tiny text, ornate scripts, and complex curved surfaces are still hard. And don't use it on documents where text integrity matters (IDs, certificates).
